Casa Arragotti is located in the heart of the Monferrato area, famous for its breathtaking hilly landscapes and scenic roads, as well as a strong connection between agricultural tradition and innovation.
The villa is just 1.5 km away from the lovely centre of Nizza Monferrato, the capital of the Barbera grape.
Turin, the capital of Piedmont, is just an hour away and the Mediterranean coast with beautiful small coastal villages is 1,5h away.
Your private Italian escape
Nizza Monferrato, the historic heart of Barbera, is one of the most representative areas of wine production in Piedmont.
The city dates back to the 14th century and here you can find restaurants, shops, speciality stores for food and wine and a market (food and clothes & more) every Friday. The city is also hosting a beautiful antiques market the third Sunday of every month.
There is numerous other small villages in the area, Acqui Terme and Canelli to name a few and Alba and Asti are under an hours drive away.
Casa Arragotti is walking distance (700 m) from the closest supermarket (Lidl) and in the area you can find very good supermarket for food, but also lots of small speciality stores selling fruit, fish, meat, cheese, pasta and of course wine.
In the city there is several bike rentals, lots of vineyards to visit and exceptional restaurants to enjoy.

Fly to Milan, 1,5h away or Turin, 1h away by car.
There is a train station in Nizza Monferrato, and the closest bigger train station is Alessandria, 30 min away.
